2025 Patent Commercialization Champion Universities Rankings Announced
According to the Turkey Patent Report 2025 published by PatentEffect, the Patent Commercialization Champion Universities rankings have been officially announced. It is highly valuable for us to see the outcomes achieved by the universities we collaborate with, as well as the tangible results of the licensing and commercialization processes we manage as CETLİS Consulting.
2025 Patent Commercialization Champion Universities Rankings Announced
According to the Turkey Patent Report 2025 published by PatentEffect, the Patent Commercialization Champion Universities rankings have been officially announced.
It is highly valuable for us to see the outcomes achieved by the universities we collaborate with, as well as the tangible results of the licensing and commercialization processes we manage as CETLİS Consulting.
The transformation of these processes into concrete outputs once again demonstrates the critical importance of well-structured collaborations and strategic approaches.
Istinye University
Throughout 2025, within the scope of our work with Istinye University, 5 different licensing agreements were executed, enabling the commercialization of 5 patents. With this performance, Istinye University ranked 4th in Turkey, sharing this position with Yıldız Technical University, Boğaziçi University, and İhsan Doğramacı Bilkent University.

Gebze Technical University
At Gebze Technical University, 3 licensing agreements were executed in 2025, resulting in the commercialization of 4 patents. With these results, the university ranked 5th in Turkey in terms of total licensing agreements.
Additionally, by achieving upfront license fees exceeding 100,000 TL in certain licensing processes, Gebze Technical University ranked 2nd in Turkey in the high-value patent commercialization category.

Istanbul University
Within the scope of our work with Istanbul University, 2 licensing agreements were executed in 2025, leading to the commercialization of 2 patents. As a result, the university ranked 13th in Turkey in terms of patent licensing agreements.
